Act 1 - Scene 1: Action takes place in a graveyard. Scene 2: That night in Maggie Polpin's shop. Scene
3: Maggie Poplin's shop. Three months later mid morning. Act
2 - Scene 1: Same day, evening time. Interval. Scene 2: Evening of a day almost a year later. Scene
3: That night. The
Play: Set
in Donegal in the 1960's. On the death of her husband Maggie is
determined to create a better life for herself and her children. The
problems arise when her vision of the future begins to sit with
increasing discomfort on the shoulders of her surly offsring. |

The
Group: Creggan
Drama Group was formed back in 1982. Re-established in 1994. Started to
compete on the Drama Festival circuit in 1997 with "The Black
Stranger". Reached the All Ireland finals in 2000 with
"Dancing at Lughnasa". |
